Timeline

2025

Farah is currently engaged as a Feminist M&E Consultant with the Doria Feminist Fund, leading the design and rollout of a feminist monitoring and evaluation framework across MENA for over 100 grantee partners. She also served as an External Evaluator for Women Now for Development and MISEREOR, and a Consultant for Democracy Reporting International, guiding gender and diversity focal points globally. Earlier in 2025, she contributed as a Researcher for Women Now for Development on GBV reporting among Syrian refugees and as a Course Developer for AUB’s Global Health Institute, designing a 30-hour online course on climate change, health, and social justice.

2024

Farah has been working part-time as a Gender Equality Adviser Consultant for Global Affairs Canada (GAC), providing technical guidance on Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy. She led a context analysis and mapping for Feminist CSOs and WROs in Lebanon and Jordan under the IRC-led IGNITE consortium and served as Gender Mainstreaming Consultant for Expertise France (AFD Group) on the Shabake 2 project, designing and delivering a gender capacity-building plan for staff and partners. In parallel, she joined CARE Syria’s Resilience Initiative (SRI) as Gender Lead, driving the Gender and Social Inclusion Work Plan, coordinating 10+ partners, and advancing the scale-up of VAWG programming in Syria.

2023

As Gender Adviser for the Haretna Consortium with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), Farah developed the gender strategy, theory of change, and action plan while integrating feminist M&E tools. She also served as a Gender Expert for InfoPro, piloting Mercy Corps’ Gender Equality & Empowerment Measurement Tool, and as a National Consultant with ResultsinHealth for the Generation Gender Mid-Term Review.

2022 - 2023

Farah strengthened the USAID Monitoring & Evaluation Program for Lebanon (MEPL) with EnCompass LLC as Gender, Youth, and Inclusion Officer, enhancing MEL systems to mainstream gender and youth priorities. Transitioning to consultancy, she partnered with UN Women, delivering 25 training sessions for Ministry of Social Affairs staff under the WFP-led NPTP. She also evaluated the IRC–LUPD partnership, improving disability inclusion practices.

2022

Farah collaborated with Save the Children Canada as Gender Equality Adviser Consultant, supporting the implementation of SCC’s Gender Equality Strategy and leading capacity-building efforts to promote gender-responsive programming across funded country offices.

2021

As Gender & Disability Inclusion Specialist at Save the Children Lebanon, Farah developed and implemented gender and inclusion frameworks, founded the GEDI Taskforce, and advanced accessibility and inclusion initiatives. She also served as the organization’s Country Spokesperson for gender and protection issues.

2014 - 2020

Farah held progressive roles with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), managing Adolescent Girls’ Programming under the WPE portfolio. She led key initiatives such as contextualizing the Girl Shine curriculum for Lebanon, co-developing UNICEF’s National Child Marriage Toolkit, and delivering the EAGER life skills training in Sierra Leone. Her leadership in program design, M&E, and capacity building informed global adolescent girl empowerment frameworks.

2013 - 2014
